Voice problems with SBCG4AP

The only thing that keeps me from buying the game is this. I have a serious voice problem. Every time a character in the game says something, the first 1-2 seconds from his sentence are cutted off. This is really annoying, and I don't know what the problem is. Can anyone help me? (Telltale staff? Forum goers?)

    I believe they're looking into it. In the meantime, the standard thing to try is updating your sound card driver and directx. If that doesn't help, a standard workaround that often does is to run dxdiag and reduce Hardware Acceleration for sound a notch or two.
