Is the next season gonna be on next-gen only?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

Oh my gosh I hope not....I don't have a good PC and I don't have a next-gen console. All I got is my Xbox. Please Telltale...if you do make the next season for next-gen, make it on Xbox too.

Lets finish this season first. And dont you worry telltale games are not usually heavy with requirements. I do hope that they willeventually release games on ps4 and xbox one.

  • this times 10 I hope they stick with this gen. its not like they have to do much with the graphics since their games are cell shaded. I only got my xbox 360 also I hope they make GOT on 360 too.

P.S who knows if their will be a season 3 I hope so though :)

  • I honestly think they'll keep going with it. I think, at the very least, they'll end it after doing another season after this one. :)

  • I really hope so cuz I really can't afford a new console this year

  • The bad thing is though, I'd buy a new console just to play this game. XD

Well, it's released digitally on consoles, isn't it? So I can see them doing releases on last gen and next gen simultaneously as I can't see a huge difference in appearance or performance between the consoles, at least in TWD's case.

  • the way I see it I think they will because they would be missing out on a huge market if they left last gen behind because a lot of ppl don't have the new consoles yet

  • Yeah. Usually Telltale is pretty honest with its customers. :)

  • Only if Telltale has a secret ULTRA MEGA HYPER Photorealist Engine on the works.

If not, I doubt that they will be dumping the old gen for the next two years...

  • Well considering that the game is downloadable to Xbox 360, it would make sense that season 2, when it comes out on disc format, will also be for Xbox 360 as well.

  • Consoles are a waste of money

  • I want to buy a new computer that's great for gaming, but gaming computers are so expensive and I don't have that kind of money.

  • I sincerely doubt it, Telltale never seem too keen on upping their game on graphics and at this point this many years later, I don't see them doing so.

  • Worst case scenario, I've got my Ps Vita. Just hoping that they release those episodes the same time as the consoles.

  • Why stop at Season 3? I'd be happy to relive the lives of Lee Everett and Clementine on next-gen.

  • You can build a decent gaming pc for 500$ but thats still throwing quite a bit of money on one thing :(

  • You can buy more powerful PCs than current gen consoles with less money. External devices allow you to play games on your TV and use a controller. Consoles have nothing.
