My theory about the can of peaches

So in Episode two Alvin and Walter both mentioned to Clem that she looked like a little girl who was on the label for a can of peaches Well, for me I think I know what this means. Peaches are sweet, right? Beans are brown and sloppy looking right? Well, I believe this means something, and I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. I think everyone else is the sloppy beans.
They have lost hope. They are no longer sensitive and they know that in the end, everyone will die. However, Clem is the sweet peaches mixed in with the beans. Even though she has been hardened by the apocalypse, she is still the sweet little girl that everyone loves. She's the sweet peaches.
