soft drink is the generic term used in Australia.

Soda generally implies soda water which is far far ickier than a soft drink, it's wonderfully bitter (kinda like tonic water, but a little different)

coke is what I call coca cola only, generally I call those drinks as fizzy drinks or pop.

I usually just use the brand name (Coke, Fanta, Sprite), but if not I will just say 'fizzy drink'.

The brand name, though I usually say "coke" first because that's what most places have.
