no the comic and the game are in the same canon telltale have said this countless times the game is just another story taking place at the same time as the comics which is why they won't merge the two
The show, the comic, and the game are all their own universes. Each one has it's own canon story separate from one another and it should sta… morey that way. The tv show is meh right now though it's picking up a little bit, the comic is so far ahead of the game that it would do more harm than good merging the stories. Just let the game have it's own universe, overall it has the best story of the three (in my opinion) and I can only see a merger hurting the game and what it's built up so far.
