I thought that Christa would be the one to care for the baby because she lost her own child. Also, if you would seriously leave behind a baby, no matter how much you dislike their mother, then I'm sorry, but there must be something seriously wrong with you.
Yeah because taking the responsibility of caring for the baby of someone you don't know is something Christa would do. It's not even logical… more in the zombie apocalypse.
Carrying a baby around in episode 4 and 5? No thanks.
Clementine's big mission in life is now about protecting a god damned baby that came out of a god damn bitch who insulted Clem and cheated on her husband? No thanks.
As long as the ending involves a surviving Clementine I'm happy. Reusing the dying protagonist will get old fast, so I'd prefer it ends differently. If she dies now how could anyone get attached to the next character anyhow?
Preferably she'll survive with a small group, perhaps led by someone she doesn't like with a sympathetic character tragically killed off shortly before the end.
Taking responsibility for a baby she doesn't know is exactly something Christa would do. She was supposed to have one anyway, and she took care of Clementine didn't she?

Given that the new generation of hardware is now out, I suspect that save transfer between systems would be very difficult for TTG to arrange. That makes it tough to say how direct the cliffhanger will be at the end of season 2, since it could be a hassle for TTG to actually follow up in season 3 if players can't import a save. Who would buy season three on PS4 if they had never played the previous seasons or if they had saves on another system?
That said, maybe this ending will leave the player wondering what happens next, but not quite rabid for the next installment. Not sure how that would manifest... I just hope however it does, it involves Clem being alive and (relatively) well.
Clementine gets seperated from everyone and starts to cry. She's sitting on the edge of a cliff and is thinking about jumping, so then she jumps but before she falls a hand grabs the back of her shirt. Then it cuts off and next season we find out who it was. It's a depressing ending, but think about all Clem's been through.

Well if this happens to be the last season it's possible.
