I hope you're right in that Kenny will be back to his old self.
The only change he's gone through, that is as clear as day, is that he's a much more driven individual.
Granted, that in itself is not a bad thing!

Honestly, I am a bit concerned about Kenny's emotional state, though given his severe loss in season 1, I'm not at all surprised.
I know what it's like to be bitter, angry, and grieved over the loss of someone you love.

One thing I did find of interest is, when Kenny accidentally calls Clementine Duck, and when Luke asks, "Who's Duck"? if the player chooses to tell Luke that Duck was his son, Luke appears sympathetic of Kenny's loss.
Even though Kenny and Luke disagree initially, perhaps they may start seeing more eye to eye, especially when it comes to dealing with Carver.
Luke, along with Clementine, may also become instrumental in helping Kenny heal emotionally.

At this point I can't say for sure whether I trust Kenny or not, but I'd rather not be forced to take his side if I can help it, especially

  • I trust Kenny, i would always be with him. I know he would never stab Clem in the back. He may do something rash or stupid but i trust him more than the cabin survivors

  • I don't remember totally but when Clem saw the lights by the bridge she tried to warn them. But the group was arguing with Kenny and his people so they did not hear. Did she mention it again? Yeah they should have mentioned it to Kenny but they should not have stayed in the cabin for the night. That was stupid.

Yes, I'll trust him to the end. Can you trust the cabin group? They've been hiding too much stuff since the start, they got Matthew killed,

I definately trust Kenny more than I distrust him.

Kenny is a good guy who have simply been through alot. Like everyone's saying, he has changed and seem to be slipping. He was a hothead before and is an even bigger one now and doesn't really seem to play well with others... especially not if those others have opinions that don't match his.

    So basically:

To do his best to protect Clementine: I'm 95% sure he is to be trusted.

**To more than half of the time make the right calls and atleast try to get along with the rest of the group (if Kenny were to join Clem with the cabin group + new members): **Not too much.

Though as long as there is atleast one member of the group who might be able to calm him down and/or reason with him (Sarita and Clementine atm) I don't think there's any real problem.

Yeah...he's definitely different. Not in a bad way or anything, he's just...different. I feel like he's just trying to replace Clementine and Sarita with his family. I mean, why is Kenny SOO happy for seeing Clem? I understand that she's a little girl and Kenny's been with her for the majority of Season 1, and seeing an old face is exciting, but they barely interacted with each other. I'd still trust him though. I don't think he'll ever go against Clementine no matter what. But I wouldn't be surprised if he turned against the cabin group, since Kenny and them haven't gotten along so well so far. We'll just have wait for Episode 3.

  • I guess he cares about her that much because she was Duck's friend. And also, he and all the group went to save her in the end.
