I get where the video is coming from. I can't believe I watched it all though... it seemed so much shorter than 41 minutes.

  • And a lot better.

  • Yeah. The guy in the video above just doesn't really have the right voice for it.
Although the "On a boat with Kenny" sentence at the end was pretty funny.

I know it's meant to be funny. And I enjoy, for instance, Zero Punctuation, i which Ben Yahtzee even criticises games he actually likes. But guys like this one just take it too far and I can't help it if I don't like it.

it's all just a joke video. It's not meant to be taken seriously. Trust me, they even say they love these games. They're just messing around for entertainment.

  • How so?

  • It's just too much for me when the guy actively tries to find fault in EVERYTHING. Even if it's meant as a joke, it bothers me.

  • Yeah. It's a great way of reminding you none of this is real.

Hmm, interesting theory, and I can see where you're going with this.

But after Lee retrieves the second tape from the doctor's corpse, he tells Vernon and Christa that the tape he found (Anna shooting up Crawford) is dated October 10th, and Vernon mentions that's the day after the first tape they watched (abortion or exile). (I played ep. 4 just a few days ago, so it's fresh.) That first tape starts off with the doctor reciting "day 82 since the outbreak", which supports the numbering system of ## OB (OutBreak).

So, using www.timeanddate.com's calender duration (quick and easy way for calculating date and time based stuff), according to Crawford and the setting of the comic universe (comic in 2003), the apocalypse began Sunday, July 20th, 2003, and Crawford fell Friday, October 10th, or 83 days since the outbreak. It seems reasonable that Crawford was active for 2.5-3 months, but that coincides with the nearly 3 months since the outbreak. So yes, seems like Crawford fell a week and a few days before the start of ep. 2.

You really helped me put that into words, so thanks for that. :) Figuring that out that date had been itching in the back of my head for awhile.

I can try to answer the Crawford query to the best of my ability, but from what I gathered, Crawford's internal "apocalypse" began in July w
