Episode Three: Journeyman Librarian Achievement

Anyone know yet what I have to do to get this Achievement? I have found all Books of Fables but two. In past episodes we always had to do something which in Faith was about Gren, and in Smoke & Mirrors about Crane. A hidden Book of Fables I guess.

    well if you played the episode once maybe the other 2 are either sparing dum and/or taking the other paths

    Well, I've tried all three paths, in which I found Flycatcher, the Headless Horseman, and the Trip Trap.

    I haven't tested it, but one of them is almost definitely linked to burning Greenleaf's tree.

    Well, that makes sense as it's right next to Greenleaf. But what can the first one be, right between Nerissa and Vivian?

    I just checked on my game, and it's called "Troll Funeral Rites", and has a picture of Lily's cairn. Most likely you get it by allowing Snow to finish the eulogy, or maybe by checking every note on Lily's grave.

    I did allow Snow to finish, but spoke to Lawrence in the meanwhile... Probably should check out those notes.

    I believe the one you're missing has to do with the funeral. Unfortunately, I can't remember what exactly I did for that one. Some ideas:

    • Don't interrupt the funeral, look at all the cards and so on at the little altar devoted to Lilly.
    • Do interrupt the funeral, sod be to everyone else.
    • Do or do not make a deal with the Tweedles (it won't work out, either way, of course)
    • Try to be nice/deliberately pick all the jerky options, just in case.

    EDIT: Pretty sure I got a Book of Fables entry when looking at the notes, so they're probably the option.

    I found out you get a book for burning the tree.

    What is the book called? Does it look important? I just let the woman kept the tree thinking it would be useful later on...

    I was missing the same one as you "right between Nerissa and Vivian."

    Kaihu is correct, it's called "Troll Funeral Rites," I got it by not interrupting the funeral then examining the cards at the alter to the area to the left of where Snow is speaking. And the other one you're missing is for burning the tree. :) Good luck!

    Thanks for the help. Burning down the Glamour Tree, and looking at the alter by the funeral gave me the two missing Books of Fables.

    I was missing two as well after I finished but mine were from not going to Crane's apartment thus not finding the Headless Horseman and the second was not burning the tree down. So went back and replayed those parts. I prefer Crane's apartment, you get a little bit more development with Jack which I'm sure will affect later episodes.

    Easiest achievement to get ever. Burn the glamour tree and go to cranes place first to get the headless horseman statue

    Going a little bit off topic here, but where's flycatcher? I've been to the trip trap and cranes apartment but I haven't seen him. Is he in the tweed led' office?

    I didn't get Flycatcher (didn't go the office) nor the Glamour Tube - how do I get the latter? I took a bunch of them off Jack, and I found and opened the one in the witch's house. Is it an either/or situation for burning the tree? Do I need to play again and NOT burn the tree to get this one?

    You got it. You have to not burn down the tree in order to receive the tube entry.

    He's at the Tweedles. HIs situation will be a bit different depending on whether you go there before or after Bluebeard (if Bluebeard goes there at all).
