I liked her, she's a good villain. It's nice to have a villain, though I hope she's not the murderer, because having an elemental force of murder be the murderer doesn't seem interesting enough for a noir mystery.
Also, I liked that unlike other antagonists so far, she's not an idiot. She actually came prepared with silver bullets. She's not like the Tweedles, attempting to intimidate a demigod with standard buckshot.
I don' know, I have a deep feeling that the Crooked Man is behind the murders and send Bloody Mary to take care of Faith and Lily. Dee said that Faith stole something from the Crooked Man so maybe.
I hate her! I wanted to tear her throat the moment I saw her!
I don't think she is all that and a bag a of chips. It's just some broad with a gun that talks big.
What I really like about her and carver is that these two get there hands dirty I love it when villains do that.
Well she's smart an off to bring sliver bullets to a fight not to mention she didn't even batten an eyelash when bigby transformed unlike the tweedles who were shitting there pants at the sight of him.
But wasn't Dee looking for information about Faith's murder back in Episode 1? That's assuming the brothers were on his payroll back then.
She came off as a very annoying mary sue. Carver can wipe the floor with her.
I wanted to know why I couldn't take her down before attacking Dum and Dee. After the barrage of shotgun shells barely slowed Bigby, it was pretty obvious the two of them couldn't stop me, so it seemed likely given how cocky she was that she would have some means of doing so.
"Always kill the mouthy one first", says I.
I like Mary! She was done really well but i have this hate/like feeling towards her. 1 I want her to be around longer and be an epic villain and 2 i want to murder her for what she did. I mean nobody shoots me while im the big bad wolf and gets away with it.
Since when is bringing silver to fight a werewolf a sign of great intelligence? lol You can say that it is a strategy greater than what Dee and Dum were doing, but that is not saying much. So let's put it this way, if a villain uses silver against Bigby does that automatically make him or her a good villain?
I don't like her, she seems to be a pretentious psychopathic-child murderer (if we are to take into account her status as an urban legend and what said story entails). Someone mentioned that Mary did not 'blink' or show fear when Bigby changed, this might be because our new villain is a psychopath so narcissistic that she simply did not care when Bigby went all 'super wolf'.
I don't like how Bigby did not adapt during the fight-such as using Dum as a shield etc-to try and take Mary out...Seems like Bigby was too focused on the Brothers, and then he became fixated on Snow. It is understandable that he would be worried about Snow, but he did not neutralize all of the threats and got a broken arm out of it...
No,no,no. In my opinion, the real badass here is The Crooked Man. He sits around in his limo while the other guys do his dirty work for him.
It's also very likely he gave the silver bullet along with the axe to Bloody Mary in case things didn't go as smoothly as he planned.
More like a talkative henchman. I have a hard time picturing her as the puppetmaster.
I like her. Plus, she had a badass revolver, and I love revolvers. Maybe I watched too many westerns when I was a kid, but whatever. Revolver.
I like her, I did want to rip her throat out though. i killed Dee and I really thought I would kill her. However that damn silver bullet got me, smart girl. If she didn't have that silver bullet. That ass would have been MINE!!!
I think that she's very cool! :] She's one of those characters that you love to hate and yeah, I'm looking forward to see more of her!
He could have been lying, I think he was
Also about Prince Lawrence, he probably was ordered to take care of that guy, and Bigby burst his bubble
No, but at least it implies some degree of preparation and knowledge of one's enemy.
In the Tweedle's files there's a list of things "procured from the business office" including "Warlock Fossil", "Williams Enigmalith", "Stone Footprint" and "Stone Books". Maybe Faith took one of those things back to help Crane but kept the 'compromising photo' for insurance?
Most interesting to me is whether or not she can be summoned through the Magic Mirror (once it gets fixed).
Other than that, yeah, she was pretty badass, even though her commentary got pretty annoying, but I suppose that's how she is. I also like the red streak in her hair; not that subtle a symbol.
At this point, the only suspects I have in my mind are the Crooked Man and Bloody Mary and most of the characters that are connected to the Crooked Man are Crane, Beauty, Georgie, Nerissa, Faith, Lilly, Vivian and the Tweedles so it's possible that the Crooked Man is behind all.
You have a good point I guess am just a big fan of the mussel in video games.
I never said she was the puppetmaster I just like her as the mussel for the crooked man.
The Moment I saw her I was like, Holy shit, she A bitch that knows how to get stuff done
Not to mention breaking your arm to the bone that was pretty cold.
Her's? Or the Crooked Man's? lol
Mussels are awesome.
Those kind of mussels, most certainly!
lol not that mussel you know the big tough guy/women who goes up against the hero like the 2nd villain in a way.
I suspect she's responsible for weapon selection, it seems like her thing. However, obviously the Crooked Man is the guy calling the shots ultimately.
Yeah, i agree definetly a great villain.
I would suspect the bullets came from the Crooked Man, they are silver, kind of a luxury item. The fact of the matter is that we can make a better inductive argument for the Crooked Man being the better villain. In my 'opinion' Mary is a cookie cutter psychopath, moreover a cliche with a meandering monologue.
There are different kinds of villain. Bloody Mary is merely a psychopathic henchwoman, and there may not be much more to her, but I found myself feeling profound negative feelings towards her during her appearance. In my opinion that makes her a decent antagonist.
If the Crooked Man is Blofeld, Bloody Mary is at least a serviceable Oddjob.
You can tell CM's in charge by his pinstripe suit.
I liked her too. Of course the Crooked Man is the mastermind but i liked her as the secondary villain. Yeah she probably is a psycho but i think she seems like the cold calculative type of psycho. I dont think she would boast so much if she didnt have something to back her up against Bigby. And she did have those silver bullets so..yeah i like her. Of course in the end i'd really like to have a one on one fight with her or something.
I agree with everything except "decent antagonist." I feel profound negative feelings towards her because, "Mary is a cookie cutter psychopath, moreover a cliche with a meandering monologue." lol
Yes I know, I was hoping Bigby would climb up the wall and jump attack her first or something lol. One of my favorite movie moments is in the western "Open Range." Keven Costner and Robert Duvall get into the finale gun battle against the corrupt cattle baron and his men. Costner just walks straight up to the enemy (it is like a show down where the bad guys are lined up) and approaches the best gun fighter. Costner asks, "are you the one that killed our friend?" The bad guy responds "yeah, that was me, I really enjoyed doing it." Then right after that, Costner shoots the guy in the head. lol
I think the Crooked Man is behind something. I just don't think it's the murders.
