A.o.S & the Winter Soldier

I hear there are tie-ins with Cap. America & Agents of Shield (also with Thor). Should I watch A.o.S before these movies or if I watch A.o.S after, will I understand the tie-ins?

    The earlier episodes are pretty standalone (besides the Thor tie-in), but everything from "End of the Beginning" onward is part of the Winter Soldier storyline. Optimal viewing order goes "End of the Beginning", then Winter Soldier, then the rest of the series.
