Bigby just surpassed Lee in badass level

  • Bigby is badass and all, but I still like Lee as the better character. For me it was just his motivation and strong will to save Clementine from almost impossible odds, and the fact that he's a little more "relatable" because he just a mere human who struggled to survive and protect a little girl in a zombie apocalypse. Characters like that are the most likable for me and it's also the reason why I prefer regular, ordinary protagonists a little more compared to characters like Asura from Asura's Warth, Kratos from God of War, and Demi-fiend from SMT: Nocturne, who go around killing gods and destroying universes like it's no big deal.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the fight scene in TWAU episode 3 wasn't awesome... it was freakin' EPIC and was my favorite part in the whole episode, but Bigby surviving gunshots to the body like that was to kinda be expected giving that he's a fable and is almost damn near immortal because his stories are well known among the mundies.

  • That's your opinion but I must ask why couldn't you have said this in TWAU where you would face less hate comments and a possibly much more like minded group. Bigby is tough but he is a fable and Lee was HUMAN. Lee was also carrying a virus that was slowly killing him and diminishing his strength.

  • Very well said.

Two different characters in two different setting. Two different scene of badassery. There are no reasons to say who is more badass than the other when they are both total badass.

  • In what world are you living in. Lee would have Bigby holding his Charmin toilet paper as he squatted.

Seriously bigby is okay but he is not even in the same conversation as badass Lee.

  • Well said. In my own opinion, there are no reason to compare them when they are in two different setting and they are two entirely different characters. They are both total badass.

Is there a reason that both of them can't be badasses? Lee: Walks into a herd of walkers. Bigby: Walks into a herd of bullets. They're both awesome and badass.

  • HOW DARE YOU

    (?) Azlyn won't forget that.

Ummmmmm, I call bullshit. Bigby is a ginormous douche compared to Lee.

  • I dont think he surpased him but he is close.

  • this is meaningless debate. Gordon Freeman wins.

  • Okay, so, realizing that my previous post was a bit irrelevant, i decided to return with my opinion...

    You can't compare the two.

    Why?

Because they're not even the same species!

Technically, Lee is only a man, a human, while Bigby is a fable, a demigod fable, actually, since his daddy is the North Wind, some sort of God. Other than that, Bigby can also turn into a wolf and has superhuman strength and senses and shit. Lee was super badass for a human. Bigby is super badass for a fable.

    They are both super badass.

  • I think Bigby has a slight advantage seeing as he is an ancient werewolf, Lee is still a badass though.

I don't know why everyone loves Gordon Freeman! He is a floating gun in an over rated fps! He has no character traits besides shoot that enemy!

  • "the character idiot", ever hear of commas? They're very useful. Well, let's think about it. Bigby is practically impossible to kill, while Lee isn't. Lee sacrificed his life to save a little girl, while Bigby will can never understand that, making Lee a much more badass character.

That really depends on how you play the character idiot.

  • I just went there!

  • Bigby has a slight advantage in that he is an ancient werewolf and is almost immortal, in spite of that I think Lee is more of a bad ass in his own way because he is capable of great things while being "just some guy"

  • I just double posted that, my bad super slow internet connection.

There is an edit button, you know? :P You could've just edited "Double post" into that second post instead of making a triple post. Just saying.

  • You are very right, unfortunately I didn't think of that.

  • Of course Bigby did, and from the first episode.

  • You're going to point out my mistakes while you're doing way more of them than me. And you are calling Bigby a douche for being immortal..?

  • I love Bigby too but he's not exactly human. He can take a lot more pain and survive.

  • Yeah but no one just survives a straight cut to the jugular. I think fables can kill fables easily, that is if they were some sort of creature like Holly, Bigby, or Gren. Although mundy weapons probably can't kill fables unless it were to be something like cutting of someone's head completely or getting the jugular.

Not gonna say the name just incase you didn't play the newest episode, but Bigby killed a fable pretty easily (player choice though)

  • I don't think you can compare the two that way. Lee was a human and Bigby isn't. However the question now is could Bigby have survived a zombie bite? that would be interesting to see. But gun shots and so on it really unfair to compare Lee and Bigby.

  • Let's look at it like this: Lee's badass moment was to save the one person he really cared about.
Bigby's badass moment was to unleash the anger and fuck shit up (and protect snow). (which is why I think people like it more)
Anyway I still think they were both awesome moments. And everybody has another opinion on thaaangs. :P

If Lee was a magical fable wolf creature that is OP and could take unlimited bullets and not die. I'm pretty sure he could replicate what Bi

  • I'm not going to say who's more bad ass but i do like bigby more than lee.
