Does anyone regret...

Does anyone regret ripping Gren's arm off? I mean obviously this only applies to the people who ripped his arm off, but if you didn't, then are you glad that you spared Gren or do you wish that you ripped his arm off when you had the opportunity to do so?

  • I'm starting to feel a little guilty about it. He's not that bad of a guy and I didn't realize that when I ripped it off. I thought, at the time, that if I hadn't got the upper hand during the fight, that he wouldn't probably killed me. Now, I'm questioning whether I was right in thinking that. I get the impression that he probably wouldn't have killed me. I spared his arm on my second playthrough though. I assume that you're feeling bad about it too if you started this thread. Are you?

  • I left him his arm, and I'm glad I did. Scarface isn't that bad of a guy once you get to know him.

  • I didn't tear off his arm, but I do regret burning the witch's tree. Probably the only "bad" choice I've made so far. Even now, I still feel bad about it.

  • in my canon playthrough I didn't rip his arm off because that's my good guy playthrough(well good but I steal peoples money xD) and I'm glad I didn't he seems like a good guy and maybe even starting to like bigby.

I ripped his arm off. Kinda feel a little bad. Thought he'd get it reattached by now. He was definitely playing for keeps back at the bar, though, so I still think he had it coming. He seems mostly cool with me now however so I try to take it easy on him when I can.

  • I thought that was weird that he didn't get it reattached. I thought as silly as it may sound it would grow back and fix itself much like the magic mirror

  • First play through I took his arm off just because he made a bad impression on me. Could be partly what I said to him too but I digress. I did feel bad after he warmed up to me a little bit so I let him keep it on the second play through. The outcome of him fighting one of the Tweedles at the funeral was the same regardless of his arm.

  • Gren's one of my favorite characters so far, and I'd like to be on his good side as much as possible. So, no, I didn't rip his arm off, and I don't regret it.

  • I regret it to the point where I'm doing another playthrough just to see how it differs if you don't take the arm off (the extra trophy won't hurt). I really liked drunk-Gren too, so yeah, I feel bad now.

  • Could never do that to Gren. He was just pissed at the system, and he got beat up anyway, so no real need to rip off his arm. He was down and beaten, ripping off his arm would have been inhumane and just showed everyone how little Bigby has really changed

  • It's a good job he seems to be left handed, and uses his left arm for everything remotely important that he does anyway ;)

  • I went the good guy route, so i left his arm alone
i am a complete idiot though as i never noticed this before, but i recently recalled that Gren is supposed to be the Grendel from the Beowulf poem, which in that he has his arm torn off

  • I ripped it off

Mortal of this story was, don't call Bigby a lap dog, and Snow White isn't a Bitch, that's no good!

  • I'm glad to spare him, you know, I don't think he's a total asshole.

  • Lol. I did the exact same thing on my good guy playthrough too. I took Tweedle Dee's money and the money that Crane had been embezzling. It's the one "bad guy" thing I did on that playthrough. It works out in the second episode though because you have enough money to pay Nerissa for the key to the motel room.

in my canon playthrough I didn't rip his arm off because that's my good guy playthrough(well good but I steal peoples money xD) and I'm glad I didn't he seems like a good guy and maybe even starting to like bigby.
