I wonder if money hoarders will eventually get to buy something really big

You can give or not give money to Faith. Choose to keep it.

If you have the money, you can pay or not pay for the whiskey at Holly's. Don't pay.

You can 'confiscate' money from Tweedle Dee. Confiscate it.

You can 'confiscate' money from Georgie (I think determinate on whether you gave Faith money). Confiscate it.

You can pay or not pay Nerissa for the 'appointment.' Don't pay.

You can take money from the Tweedle's office building. Take it.

Basically, this game is giving us an awful lot of opportunities to get money. It makes me wonder where there's going to be something big we can use the money on down the road, if we choose to be as greedy as possible.

I'm thinking the more you collect, the bigger the debt you can pay off to help someone important who is being ransomed by the Crooked Man. He seems to have the most influence with cash in Fabletown. Or maybe you can afford an item at the pawn shop that'll turn the tables on the killer?

P.S. I gave all my money to Nerissa (that poor, unfortunate soul), so maybe she'll do something useful with it, too.

  • I was thinking the more u collect the more trouble u will be in. but ur idea might work too. I hope so.

  • Maybe Bigby wants to save up for a few month's supply of Huff & Puff cigarette cartons. :)

  • Yeah, i know, i really thought we'd get to buy something in episode 3 :/

Anyway, MEIN BIGBY didn't give Faith money, because i think it's a bit sexist. He told Holly to send the bill to Crane, because I CAN. He confiscated the money from Georgie. He took the money from Crane's apartment, too. And that's that. He did pay for Nerissa's appointment, though.

  • This is really interesting! Hopefully telltale will have it count one way or another. since we've had options in every episode with money, the trend will probably continue.

  • Does the icon change if you keep everything? The most I've seen is a rolled up pile from Dee

  • I love how they don't even show how much he has. I've taken different amounts on my playthroughs and it's just "lots of money". Hopefully it will be a choice of whose debts are you going to pay for the Crooked Man. And since I don't have much on my primary playthrough, I can't really help any people but on my third save, well... XD

  • I've been giving money to the people I like (Faith, Nerissa), and taxing the people I don't (Crane, The Tweedles).

I'm beginning to suspect that these taxes are Bigby's livelihood.

  • I didn't take or give anything...

well maybe the one at toad's at the very beginning, suppose for faith
    but I kept that, lol

Maybe at the end of the game after the credits roll, Bigby will be walking by a car dealership and a diamond-encoded, pink cadillac with white fur interiors will be there for sale and you can buy it with all the money you've collected. Then the game will close with Bigby and Snow driving into the sunset with the radio blasting. It would be like an "Easter Egg" ending.

  • If you go to Crane's apartment 1st, he has an envelope of money that you can confiscate.

  • Yeah, that is a question. How much do you get from the Tweedles and how much from Crane...can you take both?

  • or new clothes

Maybe Bigby wants to save up for a few month's supply of Huff & Puff cigarette cartons.

  • Thanks. I'm going to re - do that then and hit up Crane then the Twin's offices, to get the money.

When I seen you could give money to Narissa I started over and hoarded/stole everything I could then gave it all to her. I'm hoping that pays off with a useful tip or something.

  • I'm going to make it rain at the pawn shop next episode (we see it briefly in "the next time on" segment). If I have to pay off people to get information, then maybe I will do that. However, if they aren't someone I care for, then they're going to see the back of my hand. Keepin' my pimp hand strong since Ep. 1.

  • What i do with the money is, i steal from the rich and give to the poor.

    Robin Bigby.

  • Is it safe to assume that Bibby's apartment and glamour is paid by the taxpayers of Fabletown? So he'd need money for food and clothing.

  • that's exactly what I have in mind :D

  • If the person was nice like Faith was I'd have given them money irregardless, just because of their bad situation. Also, Chinese food is gross, so I didn't need to keep it anyways. =p

    But Bigby's into it.

Yeah, Telltale, i mean, OBVIOUSLY, what we really want is Crane to strip for us. Fuck pixelated boobies, right?

  • How do you take money from Georgie? I've played through the game a few times and never found this option.

  • Don't immediately go to see Nerissa after you finish smashing/not smashing up his place. Instead, while Georgie is on the phone, go to the little safe he took the book from. I think if you gave Faith money, it will be there for you to take back.

    I gave Faith money
Took my money back from Georgie and gave some to Narissa.
I then also took money from the twins and that was it.
    All on my "Canon" playthrough.
If a choice dependent on this comes up on the future. I'm boned..
