What will Carver's community be like?

edited April 2014 in The Walking Dead

From the looks of the trailer I'm guessing it's in a home improvement/hardware store. I wonder how many people will be there? I honestly doubt that TTG has the time to spend making dozens of new models for people at the camp, so I'm thinking we'll probably only be able to interact with 5-7 new people at the most, and I figure that a few of them will be 400 Days characters. Either the area we get to explore as Clem is separated from the 'main community' area, or there simply aren't that many people there at all.

I'm really hoping that the camp will be a hub area, and hopefully we can get some optional chats with other characters, something which S2 has been lacking in so far. I really wanna get to know the cabin group better, it feels like we know almost nothing about them or their past.

Also: Why is Clem seen lifting a bucket in the trailer? Is she being forced to do manual labor, or is it just nothing?

Safe. But harsh for the underlings.

EDIT: Ignore me. Can't think to straight today. Didn't even read the OP before posting, and then read is afterwards and realized it had nothing to do with the context of the post, only the title.

  • Carver reminds me of the governor.

  • He seems more like Negan from the comics (or so I hear. I still haven't read the comics).

From what we seen with Carver chasing after the cabin group, it's safe to assume anyone who tries to leave will be hunted down and possibly killed (maybe he let everyone else live for Rebecca). Also, Clem carrying those buckets? Definitely forced labor. She's probably doing it because someone threatened her or someone in her group.

  • People who stay and captured escapees will be separated. The escapees will be used for labour, while the rest are protected and kept safe.

  • I hope he doesn't turn out to be like the Governor, that would be cheap. They have some similarities already, but if he's just the game version of him, I'll be disappointed. I'm not super fond of psychopathic characters, in my opinion they're very one-dimensional.

If anything he's like Negan, only less chaotic, and I doubt he has a harem of "wives".
