Ranking the episodes
Yeah, I know there are probably 1000000000000000 threads like this, but I felt like doing this, so here are mine:
A House Divided
All That Remains
No Time Left
400 Days
Starved For Help
Around Every Corner
Long Road Ahead
A New Day

Okay, that is not how it looked when I typed it in.....
Why do so many people put SFH as #1?
I just like that it shows that the real danger in the zombie apocalypse are other survivors. For me, it was the most memorable.

Boy, that was a tough list to make, especially with the season 1 episodes. I chose "Long Road Ahead" over "Starved For Help" because there just felt like a lot more character development and tension in episode 3 than 2. "Starved For Help", however, had a few interesting decisions that made it more entertaining than "No Time Left," which merely concluded the season. However, "No Time Left" had that one Lee death scene at the end, which automatically made it much more emotional than the rest of the episodes. For 400 Days, I honestly really enjoyed playing it (with you being able to play multiple characters) much more than "A New Day" which felt kinda 'meh' as an opening episode.

Don't interpret me wrong, but why does some people like so much episode long road ahead ? is it because of kadja and kenny?
Wow I put a new day on 2 and most of other people to the opposite and most guys put long road ahead on the top while I do the opposite. That's funny that people have different opinions
I don't get it either
I don't really understand why a new day is so disliked? I think it's one of the best.
I find it 'okay.' I didn't 'hate' it particularly. It was the first episode, so I understood it needed time to develop the characters, but in the end, it still felt kinda short of development compared to episode 3 (probably because both Herschel and Glenn were gone by the end of the episode).
Because of the feels and dark tone of the episode
Mind you, the ones near the bottom are by no means bad in my eyes. I'm yet to actually dislike an episode. Just some are better than others.
Gotcha
8. 400 days - I only enjoyed two of the five stories (Vince and Wyatt's). Shel and Bonnie didn't interest me, in terms of both story and character. Russell was pretty boring, but I did like Nate's character. I wasn't a fan of the ending scene either. 6/10
7. A New Day - The interaction with all the characters in this episode was spot on, and exploration was good, but there were plenty of moments that dragged on and got to the point of being rather boring. 6.75/10
6. All That Remains - A good way to start the season, but lacks plenty. Character development was at a minimal, very little exploration and interaction. It started off strong with the bathroom scene, and ending on a lousy note. Plenty of scenes felt rushed. 7/10
5. Starved For Help - As overrated as this was, I did enjoy most of it. The cannibals were good antagonists while they lasted, and character development was strong with this one. Though again, there were scenes that bored me such as searching one of the bandit camps with Danny St. John. I felt like I had to search everything, and I wasn't interested in it at all. The episode did pick up near the end, starting off when Lee gets the lock to the back door of the barn off. 7.5/10
4. Around Every Corner - This one seems to get quite a bit of negative feedback, and I can see why people think such things, but I overall enjoyed it more than the previous ones I already mentioned on this list. It had plenty of action, had great twists and the introduction to some rather interesting characters. Though, they could of handled the disappearance of some characters better. The entire sewer part was quite boring to me though, and the whole School segment felt like it dragged on much longer than it needed to. 8.5/10
3. No Time Left - Extremely emotional. That about sums up the season finale. I knew Lee was going to die, but I didn't realize the game would hit me as hard as it did. I didn't cry or even shed a tear (I didn't even have to hold back any, for I didn't feel the need to do so. Please tell me I'm not the only one), but that was a powerful episode. No other game has made me feel in such a way I did. Although, I feel almost the entire attic scene was pretty boring though, except for the part where I ruined that dude's face. 9/10
2. Long Road Ahead - Twist after Twist after Death after Death. What else can I say? It starts off like any normal episode, but shit happens, and it hits hard. As if losing the Motor Inn wasn't enough, they kill Carley/Doug, reveal Duck is bitten, and make us experience a horrifying Nightmare of Clementine. All that in under 10 minutes? This episode was pretty insane. Getting the train to work kinda dragged on a bit, but there were interesting moments here and there throughout that sequence to keep it from being boring, so that's always good. 9.25/10
1. A House Divided - This is everything that I can ask for in an episode. Very intense moments, huge twists and reveals, and an insane 20 minute sequence at the end. I felt that no part of this episode was boring in the slightest, except maybe for talking to Sarita in the lodge. She isn't very interesting, but she made up for it by talking about Kenny. This episode has the most intense scene I've ever experience in TWD (IMO) The Bridge scene. Then it has the biggest reveal (IMO) Kenny's fate. Oh, and THEN, it has the most difficult decision I ever had to make (Choosing who to sit with for Dinner). The introduction to Carver was excellent and well done, the strong feeling of uneasiness when he searched the cabin was well written and played out, and his character as an antagonist is very strong and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of him. I must say, I'm not sure if it's even possible for Telltale to create an episode better than this, but one can only hope. 10/10
I dont see how the bridge scene was intense at all (dont know if your talking about the fighting part or the part where nick fucks up but still i dont think it was the most intense scene in the game or even close.Kennys fate was predictable and the "hardest" decision was very easy for me :P . The introduction of carver was great .But i could have asked for a hub area in episode 2 just saying ...
Also long road ahead was IMO the worst episode so many people died especially the diference maker of carley/doug from that point onwards i felt like choices didnt mather anymore also the duck scene wasnt emotional at all becasue i hated duck and i was happy to see him go
Also cant see how starved for help is overated :P
But these are just my opinions not hating on you just giving out my opinions about the episodes but most people seem to think im just dum for thinking long road ahead was the worst episode ( altough i still liked it) and for thinling a house divided is overated so maybe its just me :P
because it involves food
