    A bunch of the office is be hanging around tonight to watch the Pirates of the Caribbean RiffTrax... It wasn't weren't related to Talk Like a Pirate Day originally, but it is be now. Avast.

    I find the day somewhat amusing, since pirates didn't actually talk like that. Robert Louis Stevenson's to blame for the whole sordid mess.

    And ninjas didn't have the ability to cleave somebody in twain lengthwise with a katana. But a non-cleaving ninja is about as fun as a straight-talking pirate: that is to say, not fun at all. :p

    Yes, I be doin' Monkey Island today, but I mostly be doin' Zack & Wiki. Spent at least an hour on Chillion, I'll be havin' ye know. About 5-6 dead Wikis, and at least two to three times as many frozen Zacks.

    Well, the "Pirate Accent" is actually the "West Country Accent," or the accent that was once spoken by those who lived in southwest England. Nowadays people who live there don't sound like that anymore, but remnants of the accent remain. This is not unlike the New York accent.
