timing of the bites
i just finished replaying season one and i noticed something, when duck gets bitten it took him around 30 hours to turn. Yet lee turned within less then 24 hours. Obviously if you choose to cut of lees arm its different but if you kept your arm surely lee should have lasted longer.

Sorry if I'm missing something, but where did this 30 hours figure come from?
well at the motel it was around the early afternoon then in the RV kenny drove through the night and when you first meet omid and christa you find out duck was killed around 2 in the afternoon so its somewhere around the 24 hour range maybe not 30 like i originally said
The duration of how long you will last of being bitten varies from where you were bit.
i guess so but it also matters about what type of bite it was, like a scratch or a fully fledged bite and i think ducks was a bit more than a scratch despite what kenny said.
And Lee was bitten right on a vein by the looks of it...
true hadnt really thought about the positioning... yet it still doesn't seem right.
