TWD video not working

Every time I launch the game I just see a black screen. The audio works, but the video never does.
I used the support tool and here's what I got.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Please try starting the game again, and then switch the game to Windowed Mode using the Mac shortcut (CMD+F). You should then be able to see the game. Then try lowering the game's resolution and/or graphics settings to a lower setting and hit Apply, and you should then be able to play in Full Screen mode.

    I have the same problem. However, putting it into windowed mode does not seem to offer up any resolution options. There's just a game app menu and the preferences for that are greyed out.

    If I let the music do its thing for a bit then some partially rendered graphics appear but still no controls.
