When we meet Bloody Mary at the end of Episode 3, she mentions one of her favorite pastimes of killing kids who say her name 5 times in front of a mirror. I always thought you had to say "Bloody Mary" 3 times!
Dammit! No wonder she never showed up for me. I feel cheated. ಥ_ಥ

The version I heard always stated it had to be 3 times as well. I just chalked it up to differences in the telling of the legend.
They say 3 times so when you actually try it it doesnt work :P
