Is _____ actually _____?
I've been thinking that Bloody Mary is actually Rachel. I do have evidence:
- Both Rachel(R) and Mary(M) have freckles
- Both R and M have (hazel) brown eyes
- Both R and M have black hair
- It's relatively hard to see but both R and M have lines on their cheeks
Both R and M have similar lips (IMO)
It also states in Mary's Book of Fables entry that:
The true history of the person known as "Bloody Mary" is almost completely unknown, even to Fables most acquainted with its members
In Aunty Greenleaf's Book of Fables entry it says:
Rumored to have lost a daughter in the Homelands
It says that the Fables don't even know what Bloody Mary's backstory is so there is a possibility that she could be Rachel as she was lost in the Homelands.
It's come to my attention (from both re-playing the game and other people that have pointed it out) that Bloody Mary has symbols on her arms:
Rachel is a daughter of a witch and it would make sense that she would know some magic. The symbols glow when she breaks Bigby's arm so it would make sense that it's some form of magic that gives her strength.
So could "Bloody Mary" actually be Aunty Greanleaf's lost daughter and is going under a different name? I can't be the only one that thinks this...Or am I!?

Just... no.
I suppose I'm mad then.
I think it's possible
Could be. Maybe with her, the witch you hire can come worthy. if you do hire her.
It's possible. She was in the corrupt fable land for a long time. Also, from a story point of view, it's an interesting twist that would add tons of character to an otherwise bland psycho character. Plus it would give greenleaf a more important role.
Yeah, there's more to Greenleaf than just knowing where Crane was. Considering she has a glamour for Rachel, she has to be getting the components from somewhere.
I think it would be an interesting character plot point as well. Why else would they add Rachel (other than giving us something to sympathize with Aunty Greanleaf).
I think she was just glamouring as Rachel for old times sake (as well as knowing her personality) but I do think she has more for the story than just being the witch that Crane went to.
