Ribbon magic?

edited April 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

Anybody think the ribbons on the girls' necks is the source of the "my lips are sealed" spell?

  • Nah, not really. :/ I think it's more of a spell, but nothing is possible. Though the ribbon could be holding one of those capsules that Hollys sister had, for her to be glamoured. I don't know, maybe it could have like a lock? But it's probably a spell. I'll be sure to look into this though.

  • Yeah, I think that the ribbon is a part of the spell but it could also just be a symbol that they work in the Pudding & Pie.

  • I hadn't absorbed a decent understanding of the ring's magical properties so it might be the ring.

  • Yep. They even have little images of lips on them.

The question is, can they be removed without damaging the wearer?

  • I'm pretty sure they are connected with the spell, though I never managed to see that little lips everyone's been talking about.

  • Agreed that the ribbon is connected to the spell/geas, but I never saw the design either. They're not big enough to hold the glamour tubes.

  • Maybe that's why Faith's bow was stuffed in her mouth? As a message that she said something she wasn't suppose to and that's why she was killed.

  • Probably the ribbon is what beheads them, since the only two that have died were both wearing those ribbons and under the effect of a censorship spell. Maybe if removed incorrectly or if they break it the 'safeguard' activates and decapitates them and notifies the owner for 'disposal'.

  • Quite possible, but what happened to Lily's then?
