Comic Book Border Needs to Go - Android Edition

So I was incredibly excited the other day when I saw the trailer announcing the Android release of the Walking Dead. Telltale had finally come to Android! So I went ahead and downloaded Season 1 immediately.

First I have to say it looked and ran beautifully on my S4. Unfortunately the experience was heavily marred. For whatever reason they added a comic book border around the screen whenever there's a cutscene.

It's incredibly distracting and sucks you right out of the experience. It also ruins the drama and surprise of some classic dramatic moments. For instance at the very start of the game when you have to get the keys from the dead policeman. It's an incredibly tense moment of will he come to life or won't he? And then it's ruined as the border appears letting you know something is about to happen ahead of time.

It's also a terrible fit for mobile devices. It might look decent on a tablet but phones need all the screen space they can get and the border just eats it up.

There's obviously no technical reason for the border as the non-cutscene portions of the game run perfectly fine. So PLEASE at least add an option to disable it.
