It does not have to be your favorite necessarily (though you may list them), just something that may have intrigued you or made you think differently than you did before.
I think Chapter 1 of W.E.B DuBois's The Souls of Black Foul was a basic understanding on race difference and assimilating within the structure presented. Not the best choice of words but essentially I got the idea of the double consciousness. I also manifested reading and watching Dutchman (Amiri Baraka).
