How to make Spoilers

edited October 2008 in General Chat
It is indeed a small thread, but due to the fact Telltale hasn't put anything up like this I decided to. And now the lesson begins:

[ spoiler ] text here [ /spoiler ] Now do it again only without spaces:
Text Here
There you go :)

There are actually a ton of posts about how to make spoiler tags. There is at least one in almost every thread containing spoilers.

Yeah well, not everyone looks in each thread.

You learn tags by quoting other people and working backwards
  • edited September 2008
True, but not everyone quotes, some people just type without quoting.

I mean for ANY tag you're not sure how to use, quoting and reverse engineering the tag is a way to teach it to yourself...

    HEY! WHO THREW THAT!

Ok class, settle down. Lets be seated, and maybe you brats will learn something. So shut up and read!

Today we are going to learn how to properly teach spoiler tags (like a bunch of proper geeks!)...

    Spoiler text here

    gives you...
    Spoiler text here

How do I do that? With a little known forum tag called "Noparse" (Basically meaning "ignore tags")

Just copy + paste the what's in the quote below and be amazed...

    Spoiler text here

    Gives you...

    Spoiler text here

Now you know, amuse your friends, and annoy other members...

Now I hope you kids can stay out of trouble next period... Teach has some "work" he needs to get done in the janitors closet with Ms. Stevenson.

Ooh, the how to make How To's post, excellent. And have fun with Ms. Stevenson. Will you be making arts and crafts?

Someone needs to make the spoilers in the part where you post, so no one has to do this tiresome typing thing.

Actually, I heard him say something about life science after class... but nevermind. I'm sure that had nothing to do with him and Ms. Stevenson working together :p.
