was Lee on death row?
i mean, Georgia is a death penalty state and Lee killed someone pretty important. so was he pretty much on his way to the death penalty?
if so, odd that he was saved from death by...dead people.

I think he was going to serve a life sentence, but yeah his life would have been pretty much over either way.

well if you replay season 1 episode 1 in the drug store carley says "the drugstore owners son got himself a life sentence for killing a senator sleeping with his wife" so lee was sentenced to life in prison
Man, lee was such a great person. I just cannot imagine him in prison.
Pretty sure what Lee did would count as second degree murder, a killing done in the heat of the moment against a man who was cheating on his wife. That's not enough to get the death penalty, even if the victim is a senator.
He wasn't on Death Row but he did have a Life Sentence
