Did anyone actually watch this? I got to five minutes, then I noticed it was forty minutes long, and I exited out. And why does he mention reading first? Is the dumbass illiterate?
The whole thing is a rip-off of Cinemasins - a youtube channel which is far funnier and has better points. Cinemasins always makes the joke about reading in the opening or excessive beginning narration.

It's entertaining, and CinemaSins doesn't do Videogames. They actually did a video addressing this. Yes, it is inspired by CinemaSins, there's are links all over their videos to CinemaSins, but CinemaSins doesn't do videogames, so why should they be barred from doing it?
Wow, what a ripoff of Cinemasins. Copying the sounds, format, telling very similar jokes... Only for some reason, not funny.
Here's an example of the original:

You do realize that it's not serious, right? It's a joke, it's meant to be funny. Around 80% of the "sins" are jokes. It's a series they do inspired by CinemaSins, where they point out "everything wrong" with a game(CinemaSins works with movies) as a joke, kind of laughing at it even though they liked it. Or sometimes, like with DMC, they really are pointing out it's sins.
I would generally agree, but this goes past homage, or adopting a concept, the very same sound effects, opening screen, and they even admit to taking nearly everything from Cinemasins (listing off 'format, narrator's voice, sound effects, sense of humor').
I went and watched that video, you mentioned. It's total bs. It's overly confrontational, (and self-righteous when talking about 'ideas,'and 'growth.') More importantly, there's a different between being 'inspired' and blatantly copying. You can say 'America's Got Talent' is taking the concept of 'American Idol' and applying outside of singing, however if they had all the same logos and a Simon Cowell impersonator, it's copying.
They give the example of posting of video of playing a video game, there are certain things which are too simplistic to be copyrighted (called a threshold issue), which is true in that case, but given all the minute details, it is above that limit. I don't think Cinemasins is copyrighted, but I'm not talking about the legality anyway.
Also, and this is a somewhat separate point, I just don't think it's nearly as funny.

I love ___sins channels! Also skip to 1300 if you don't want to watch it all but want the best part of the video (or that I've seen so far, still watching)
CinemaSins made an "Everything Wrong With" video of themselves, and one of the sins was "We put our videos into the Film and Animation category because we've already given our full allotment of f'ucks about people who don't understand sarcasm". Because it's sarcasm, for entertainment.

Eh, I gave it a chance, but it's nowhere near as funny or smart as Cinema sins. The guy was just pointing out random stuff. Cinema Sins does that too, but in a funnier and better way and not so obvious.

Damn, this guy is a genius.

repost sorry.

And when he talks about Lee's wound, hitting it against the front seat could have caused it, and there was actually some broken glass.
That "Lee is a dick bonus" starting at 34:21 is hilarious though...
don't take him serious he's just trying to entertain

Well, I still enjoyed it though.
Or "The Room".
The Room is way too easy, lol. Nobody lambasted it as well as Rifftrax.

True, I was just looking for an example that had a 'bonus round.'
Their videos are usually on more popular, mainstream films.
The narrator for the games video just doesn't have the same humor as the CinemaSins guy.
CinemaSins made an "Everything Wrong With" video of themselves, and one of the sins was "We put our videos into the Film and Animation category because we've already given our full allotment of f'ucks about people who don't understand sarcasm". Because it's sarcasm, for entertainment.
Haha the entire Lee is a dick bonus round was pretty funny. 37:40 was the funniest though. "+1000"

There a bit too long, he needs to shorten them to about 15 minutes
