So you would upset the good Kenny fans just to spite the bad Kenny fans such as the OP? How is that fair? I could easily say "Luke should die so Cluke can end." But that wouldn't be fair to the normal Luke fans.
Why do I need that? It's as simple as logical reasoning. It's like saying I know they won't write a land walking shark into the story. I don't need a script to figure that out, nor do I need a script to tell me this.
TWD is TWD. Kenny is just a character in it, and not an overly amazing one at that. They could kill him in the first 5 minutes and you know what would happen? Nothing besides a lot of fanboys crying on the forum.
No it's just stupid, I keep hearing that Sarah should be protagonist, Molly should be protagonist and now it's Kenny. It won't happen in a long time, get over it.

If you say so. I doubt you're willing to accept your opinion isn't fact, so discussing this is rather futile. Out of curiosity, what line of reasoning have you used to come to this conclusion?

Telltale would go bankrupt if Kenny dies. There is no TWD without Kenny. If Kenny dies then what? There will be nothing to look forward to and would just ruin the story. Telltale knows better than to kill Kenny off. Bringing Kenny back in episode 2 is the smartest move that Telltale has ever done and will ever do besides making Kenny season 3 protagonist.

Actually, it would be around 99% of forum-goers (including myself) rightfully complaining that TWD went down the crapper for becoming Kenny's story instead of Clem's. That would be a monumentally stupid decision, killing off all of the other interesting characters just because "KENNY OMG!"

I knew it you Judas! You're not a true Kenny fan! You're going to be sorry when Kenny is season 3 protagonist and the community is consists of only true devoted Kenny fans. You won't be apart of it.

1st. I'll commend you on your intrepid ideas, even if they are fanatical and laughable.
2nd. People bought s2 with no significant reason to believe Kenny would return. Ttg would be as prosperous after as they were before and during (presumably) his death.

People knew that Kenny wasn't dead and he was coming back in season 2. If Kenny's death wasn't so ambiguous then Telltale wouldn't have sold half the copies of TWD season 2 as they did.

There are many tell tale signs he won't make it through the season.
One being comparative to season one, in which no one made it besides a select few.
Two being telltale doesn't do happy. Bittersweet perhaps, but not happy. What would make a lot of people happy? If Kenny lives to s3.
Three being that they are already setting him up for calamity. What with all the rebuilding his makeshift family and bordering on insanity. Plus his new "boat."
Four being a simple concept. Do they really have a reason to bring him back if not to write him off in a depressing way, after all we did cover them not doing happy.
Next would be a good story. Loosing a long time family(ish) connection is a hard thing to bear, pushing her into the waiting arms of the others still remaining. Solidifying our trust and confidence in the group.
It can't be proven fact. Neither can them not writing in, again, a land walking shark. But it's an easy concept to grasp when you rise above your personal feelings and attitudes of the character.
If you say so. I doubt you're willing to accept your opinion isn't fact, so discussing this is rather futile. Out of curiosity, what line of reasoning have you used to come to this conclusion?
They didn't know he would return. They knew who would though, and that's the reason they bought it. Though many would have bought even if she didn't return, because most are fans of the world or of telltale's ability, not a particular character.

Alright, that's definitely a very reasonable theory, and there's definitely a chance of Kenny dying, but there's also a chance of him making it. If was rather hasty of me to accuse you of passing off your opinion as fact, so I apologize. You claim Wellington will be Kenny's downfall, but that's still not a definite fact. Maybe he'll finally learn to get over these stupid plans. Maybe he'll make peace with his family's death. Unlikely, I admit, but hell, anything's possible at this point. And certain files have been found that indicate Ken will be around for a while. I can go into further detail, but that's minor spoiler territory.
It isn't fact, yet.

But yeah, we'll have to wait and see. Though I will be very, very surprised and fairly disappointed if he makes to to s3. Horrendously so on both accounts if he is the s3 protagonist.

LOL. I love Ken, but he'd be a terrible protagonist. We couldn't project ourselves onto a guy who has such a controversial, pre-defined personality. Also, I thought more about your post above.
You said Telltale love being bittersweet, and that's true. But maybe instead of Ken dying, Clem gets "broken" mentally and the sweetness is Kenny's survival (Well, for his fans, at least.)
Telltale do have happy moments, imo. (Clem getting the apple, Clem getting her hat back, Clem and the saltlick, etc.)
That's major spoiler territory
Thanks for not sharing the files, I hate that }:/

It would be a pretty lackluster bittersweet ending if a semi-large portion of the community fails to consider the sweet part all that sweet.… more
They do have happy moments, but it wouldn't end on a purely happy note.
Anyways we seem to be on the same page, just reading it differently. Well just have to return to our conversation at the end of the season

You tell him mustache brother! Kenny will live and Luke will die to end Cluke. Killing two birds with one stone!
Take my upvote for being the exact same way I will be when he dies. I'll be depressed... but the forums should help cheer me up...
Nope because after everyone is dead except Kenny, the forums will be glorious because it's only going to be Pro Kenny fans and nobody else!!!
The labored cries of the fanboys are going to be quite funny. Though I like Kenny also.

But Kenny is dead.he died in episode 5 of season 1
The only reason I typed that is so no one noes he's alive(fuckn spoilers man jeez!)

Haha you're just delaying the inevitable of Kenny taking his rightful place as season 3 protagonist.
I knew it you Judas! You're not a true Kenny fan! You're going to be sorry when Kenny is season 3 protagonist and the community is consists of only true devoted Kenny fans. You won't be apart of it.
It's the best thing Telltale can do. It will attract a new set of customers making Kenny protagonist.

I think you meant to say "Devoted Kenny FANATICS" and if they're anything like this thread, well, I can't say I'd be sorry to miss out on all of that.

'I'LL NEVER BUY A TELLTALE PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!'

Evidently not.
He just called you a bad Kenny fan dude.

Looking forward to it, sir.
