Alright since everyone else feels like being mean I'll step up. Why exactly do you think he is a bad writer? What aspects of the episode(s) he has written do you think were subpar?

  • Why do you say they are a troll? I've seen an ill informed and not backed threat, to which perhaps I can enlighten the user or even they could enlighten me. This forum is a place for discussion. Look at the other posts in this threat, the other posters are being mean. After briefly skimming this persons account I have no reason to believe they're here to troll.

  • If he gives reasons, then I agree with you.

  • It doesn't matter if you agree with me. The benefit of the doubt makes this a more homely forum.

I know I am going to get dislikes for this. Nick Breckon is a good writer, but he sort of does have faults. Compare the plot holes in Starved for help and A house divided(lights). I really hate that the group is made to look like idiots. I hope he steps up his game in Episode 5..

  • I strongly disagree. There is no such thing as a bad writer at Telltalegames...So far.

  • I also like Nick Breckon and I enjoyed the episodes he wrote but I noticed in A House Divided they get Clem to do a lot of things for them as if she was an adult like Alvin asking Clem to go get food when he could easily do it and things like that,I hope they do give Clem more moments as an efficient group member but maybe she shouldn't do everything for them you know.

  • In fairness, Carlos's medical degree is written in crayon on a napkin he keeps in his back pocket. I don't think he would have been able to utilize this new "key" technology as quickly as an 11 year old did.

  • Ok, we understand you don't like Nick Breckon, but you could've at least tried to verbalize it coherently if you wanted to be taken seriously.

  • That's a good point I mean for all we know Carlos was the one who told Rebecca she was pregnant and really she is just fat.

  • That's not even the worst of it. Nick's mom was never bitten, she just fell and scraped her knee. Carlos saw it and "diagnosed" her "bite" and, well, the rest is history.

  • Rock you should know by now that I don't agree Carlos is an ill skilled doctor lol.

  • Starved for Help is overrated

  • Why? No, seriously, I'd like to hear this. The biggest faults I see with it are the brilliant plan of the St Johns and Lee getting away with opening the barn.

  • Not saying it was bad, I would give it a 7.5/10 overall. I personally think Around Every Corner, No Time Left, Long Road Ahead and A House Divided were all better than it.

  • Telltale are called Telltale. Because they have good writers. It's what they're about. Stop criticising people simply because you didn't like that one particular work, it's horrible to judge people like that.

  • Those words...is it even impossible to use in a sentence???

  • That's not a reason. It had plenty of hubs, lots of character development and a good moral choice that is still being discussed on this forum. (Kill Larry vs Saving him)

  • Everybody has opinions, and I just happened to fall into the minority (That's to be expected though, this usually happens because fuck my opinions right?)
