What was the best Episode you played?

From season 1 and 2 and why?

Comments

  • Season 1 ep 2 ,Season 2 ep 2 both have tension and shit

  • Season 1 Ep3 because it was really emotional and Season 2 Ep2 because it had tension one of my favorite moments is with Walter and Carver

  • I may be in the minority here, but from S1 I enjoyed ep 4 very much, if not the most. It had the right amount of action and emotional moments in my opinion. I don't why it received the lowest scores out of all the episodes from the majority of reviewers...

As for S2, I think it's no big secret everyone enjoyed ep 2 much more than ep 1.

  • Long Road Ahead. very moving. lots of character building, but also a bit of sadness

  • Episode 7 (A House Divided)

  • around every corner!

  • A new day cause it started The whole series and it was amazing.

Starved for Help. All that mystery involving the St. Johns and that dramatic ending made the episode for me, definitely. And for season 2 I think In Harm's Way will be pretty cool, but it's too early to judge.

  • Season Two, Episode Two, A House Divided. Easy.

  • Definitely Starved for Help.
I was like "damn, these characters are creepy", but I didn't think the game would go as far as it did. When I saw the guy in the bathroom I was like "oh shit, oh shit, Clementine!" I was literally shouting at my screen as Lee ran down the stairs, it was tense as hell.

    Also, fuck Larry. that helped.

  • I hope you're joking

    around every corner!

  • Starved for Help, of course. So nice being able to get to know the characters and have their friendships grow rather than have constant action and puzzles. The action in it was fantastic and tense, too.

  • same here.

Season 1 Ep3 because it was really emotional and Season 2 Ep2 because it had tension one of my favorite moments is with Walter and Carver

  • Season 1: Ep 4 (Around Every Corner) > Ep 2 (Starved for Help) > Ep 3 (Long Road Ahead) > Ep 1 (A New Day) > Ep 5 (No Time Left)

Season 2: Ep 2 (A House Divided) > Ep 1 (All That Remains)

So yeah, Around Every Corner and A House Divided are my favourites.

  • A house divided.

  • i'm not, it was the best episode definitely

    I hope you're joking

  • I came to this game and these forums after Episode 3 was released, so Around Every Corner was the first one that I got to experience the hype with and all that. So I couldn't expect anything from it. Therefore, the twists and turns and focus on my favorite character (Ben) made this my favorite episode, too.

I may be in the minority here, but from S1 I enjoyed ep 4 very much, if not the most. It had the right amount of action and emotional moment

  • Season2 Episode1 is my favorite. It was the" Clem, be strong" emotion

  • Season 1, No Time Left. From start to finish it was the most tense, emotional experience I have ever had in a game.

  • A House Divided

This is everything that I can ask for in an episode. Very intense moments, huge twists and reveals, and an insane 20 minute sequence at the end. I felt that no part of this episode was boring in the slightest, except maybe for talking to Sarita in the lodge. She isn't very interesting, but she made up for it by talking about Kenny. This episode has the most intense scene I've ever experience in TWD (IMO) The Bridge scene. Then it has the biggest reveal (IMO) Kenny's fate. Oh, and THEN, it has the most difficult decision I ever had to make (Choosing who to sit with for Dinner). The introduction to Carver was excellent and well done, the strong feeling of uneasiness when he searched the cabin was well written and played out, and his character as an antagonist is very strong and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of him. I must say, I'm not sure if it's even possible for Telltale to create an episode better than this, but one can only hope.

  • Season 1 episode 2

  • Season 1 Episode 5

  • agreed

    400 Days.

  • No Time Left and Starved for Help are almost equally good IMO but for different reasons. No Time Left was good for literally defining the word 'feels' and Starved for Help was just plain tense as hell. NTL is ultimately a little bit better than SFH but it's really close. A House Divided in S2 was also awesome.

  • Actually best episode "kinda" was S1E1, cause when this game got released and i first-time played that episode which started whole awesomeness, i never forget that feeling and it was getting better and better.

  • Episode 4: Around Every Corner

  • Season 1 - Episode 4 - Around Every Corner.

    Season 2 - I don't know yet. Wait until episode 5.

  • All the episodes were good but i had to choose it would be House Divided

  • Season1 Episode3! The whole episode is a masterpiece!

Season2 Episode2! ( Not like there were many episodes to choose from yet:)

  • As Season 2 aren't finished yet, I decided to talk about my favorite in Season 1 instead.

Episode 3: A Long Road Ahead: It is my favorite episode. Many shocking things happen on this episode. Broken hearts, betrayal and tragedy, despite everything, the survivors has to keep moving on and the one bright light in all the midst of darkness is Clementine.
