Sam and Max S2 DVD

Just Received my hard copy of the Sam and Max S2 DVD; read the pamphlet in the front that says to let the disc uninstall the downloaded versions and copy over the saved game files.
Popped in the DVD it uninstalled the downloaded episodes and coppied the prefs and save game files but then blows up when trying to copy SamMax201.exe with an "Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?" error. :(

Based on prior recommendations I tried copying the setup.exe to the desktop; this did not work either; same error.

Suggestions?

    Could you try uninstalling each episode (if you still have that option) and then installing from the disc again? Just in case the existence of the download versions is messing with the installer somehow. You should be able to do this from the Start menu.

    If you still get the same message, it's probably a bad disc. We can send you a new one if that's the case.
