I meant certain guys like my boyfriend and my best guy friend. I like guys who play video games, watch Doctor Who with me, won't laugh when I dress up like Princess Elsa to make a parody video, and taught me how to use a BB gun. That would be my boyfriend and my best guy friend.

I'm a straight guy too. I Have nothing against gay people in general unless they want to tell the whole world they're gay( through a parade). I hate that.

He doesn't like Gay Pride, people who ride around naked in parades while f**king each other in the butthole yelling "I'M GAY AND I'M PROUD!"
Being Gay =/= Gay Pride.
I don't roam around yelling at the top of my lungs that I sleep with women, do I? Sex has always been a private part of someone's life. Give me ONE reason why I have to celebrate you being gay? There's nothing to celebrate; you're gay, big deal. I'm straight, big deal. Sex in general should be kept private (I don't care who you f**ked last), so why is homosexuality exempt? There's nothing to be prideful about.
Straight. As a matter of fact, Super Straight. I have a soft spot for women in my heart. I'd marry Ten If I could.
Nothing against Gay people though, They're humans just like everyone else. I'm against Discrimination towards Gay people but I don't support them being treated like Pharaohs either because they represent a minority of the community or get discriminated Occasionally.
I can't wait for the day when Gay people can just walk the streets without being Treatred badly or people/The Media making such a big deal out of it. Every time an Athelete comes out of the closet the world goes nuts. It shouldn't be like that.

I'm not sure if gay pride parades is something completely different in the part of the world you're from, if you've even experienced one or if you're just speaking out of bigotry. Gay pride parades aren't about having gay sex in public. That would have been absurd. It's about having a chance to display the same signs of affection in public around like minded that every heterosexual in the world takes for granted; like kissing and holding hands. If anyone's exempt from the restraints that are imposed on LGBTs by society it's heterosexuals. Saying the opposite sounds completely ridiculous to me.

Oh, so Gay Pride is basically shoving homosexuality in other's faces; that makes it much better. People smooching in public is bad enough. A quick kiss is fine, but, sorry to inform you, I am not comfortable with watching men kiss, and Gay Pride basically says, "fuck you, watch us make out while you stand there uncomfortably". I don't CARE if you kiss or hold hands, that is why the whole "Gay Pride" thing is ridiculous: it has no reason to exist other than to shove their sexuality into other people's faces. I do have a problem when you are forcing me to watch you be affectionate to each other. I don't give a shit. Why would I care that you are gay? I don't, and if I'm not comfortable watching men kiss, what right do you have to make me be comfortable with it?

So it's only OK when heterosexuals "shove their sexuality into other people's faces"? If a gay person isn't comfortable with watching people of different genders kiss, what right do you have to make them be comfortable with it?

Difference is we aren't parading down the street doing it. If it were in a public place like a restaurant, I could simply look away, but not during a parade demonstration. It's an unnecessary annoyance.
Plus, as I said above, hand holding and kissing is OK with me, it's when I am forced to watch/celebrate it is when it pisses me off.

No one is forcing you to do that. Don't be absurd. If you don't want to watch a gay pride parade, you can simply avoid them. It's not like there are spontaneous gay pride parades popping up in your neighbourhood when you least expect them.
They're easily avoidable.
Not so with the thousands of heterosexual showing impulsive signs of affection everyday, everywhere you go. There's no avoiding that. Making yourself off to be some kind of victim of LGBTs fighting for equal rights and equal treatment just make you sound silly.

You act like it's surprising. Heterosexuals make up nearly all of the earth's population, where homosexuals make up, like, 2% or something. Don't expect 98% of the world to bend their knees for 2% of a population. It's the way it is; you live in a world were heterosexuals make the majority, so therefore, you are going to see things targeted more toward heterosexuals than homosexuals.
Besides, we aren't talking about gay rights or treatment, we are talking about Gay Pride, which is, as I have said again and again, an unnecessary annoyance that just get's in my way. It does nothing but taint the homosexual reputation. There are plenty who are homosexual themselves who say that Gay Pride is just ridiculous, because it literally does nothing for them.

Let us end this conversation here, before a Mod comes and destroys this thread.
I would like to make a few things clear: I am not a bigot and I don't hate homosexuals nor do I want to take away their rights, I just think that the concept of "Gay Pride" is as ridiculous as "Straight Pride" or "Foot Fetish Pride" or "Whatever Pride". I don't like gays who are overzealous over their sexuality; I mean, it's sexuality, who cares?
I don't expect this argument to come between us in the normal forum or in normal conversations. This argument is over. We can move on from politics and simply enjoy this forum without holding grudges over something so simple as a political disagreement.

I'm bisexual, maybe pansexual. (I'm currently questioning) I'm more sexually attracted to girls, but I don't have a preference for any other gender orientation besides that.
I have a problem with people who are made uncomfortable by LGBTQA+ folk openly expressing affection or, as some heterosexual people say, "flaunting" their sexuality. Sorry. (not really) Saying you disagree with queer people and their lifestyle, but then trying to cover it up by saying you have "gay friends" or you support gay rights does not make you any less homophobic.
Also: Gay Pride parades have nothing to do with exclaiming how much you love having gay sex, nor are they about sex at all. (though some individuals may participate in such behavior, they do not speak for the whole, or the meaning of the parades) If you think this, you are completely missing the point of Gay Pride parades. Besides, what's wrong with having pride in something that society wrongfully oppresses you for? Pride =/= "flaunting"
I may have painted a more hostile picture of Gay Pride than necessary (sorry about that), but I just don't see the point in being prideful about it.
I'd be much happier if that energy and pride was put toward feeding the poor and hungry and needy. THAT is something to be proud of, not who you do or don't bang. I don't care about that, I care about accomplishments.

That's alright. While I personally disagree, I respect your opinion and values. Besides, I don't really have the energy or the knowledge to debate on such a controversial subject right now. I like to debate but arguing about topics like human rights, politics, religion, etc just frustrates me.

Straight.
That's a really good question, I don't even know.
ACCIDENTAL DOUBLE POST MOVE ALONG NOTHING TO SEE HERE.

You reeeeeeally want some action don't you?

I think he got turned down by Azlyn.
. . .
You have a boyfriend...?
Indeed I have.
She wanted to be just friends, which I was OK with. If she is happy, I am happy.
I'm a straight guy, but I do support gay rights.

I've had the same boyfriend since kindergarten! Haha! Sorry Gle - I mean, Pokedme. XD

I'm only attracted to red cars
