I thought it would be nice to share with fellow Walking Dead fans. Here's a small description of my story.

Set in the world of Robert Kirkman's award-winning comic book series, The Walking Dead 365 is a non-canon story. You read the experiences of different characters. Austin, a teenage boy who's father died before the apocalypse and his mother, Samantha will try to find a safe place for herself and Austin. Ellis, a police officer that worked on West Georgia Correctional Facility couldn't be with his family during the apocalypse and is forced to help Frank and Melvin on finding a secure place for survivors. Oscar and Fernando are brothers that lost their parents right when the apocalypse started. They're trying to keep family together and look for their sister, Sofia.

    Just a very brief criticism, but by first impression your story seems to be about lots of men protecting 'helpless' women.

    Just from the description, at least. Surely a teenager's mother would be capable of looking after herself?

    I mean to start with 75% of your characters are male and half of them are charged with looking after their mother or sister.

    Furthermore, on closer inspection it seems that there are rough 19 characters in your story, four of which are female.

    I'm not expecting a 50/50 ratio here but come on, that's just unrealistic.

    Yeah, I know I noticed that too, but they I'll make sure to add more female characters.

    You should read it. Austin's mom is a sharp shooter like Carley. Even taught Samuel (one of my characters) how to shoot.

    Ok, changed it. I wrote this description before I started writing. I'm glad I posted this, because the other people in the website don't point out the mistakes. Thank you.
