Season 2 Feedback
I was wondering for a long time if I should even write this, but then again, if the FAQ states that Telltale values the feedback they are getting, then hell, maybe someone will even read this message in bottle. In a thousand years... On another planet... Prepare for a wall of text.
Of course I would love if episodes were longer and I would love to get them sooner, but I also know one cannot rush perfection. So I will get to the point: I am probably not the only person that was overwhelmed by Mr Fennoy's performance as Lee, and I am surely not the only person who would love to hear more of it. Unfortunately the character is dead, but death never stopped anyone from bringing a character back (I am looking at you Mr. S. Holmes). What if, for instance, Clementine suffered from a near death experience? Could Lee give her some advice based on his decisions made by the player in season one? Or tell her never to give up when she is about to lose all hope? My point is: if a character disliked by many can appear as a wraith on the TV show, why the one we actually cared about can't do the same in the game?
Anyway, I really appreciate what you people have done so far and, and even though we are in the middle of season two, I am hoping for season three with Clementine as the main lead, because in my opinion Miss Hutchinson does an excellent job. Besides the character she is voicing deserves it. And maybe a hopeful ending to the series as well?
Thanks for reading this,
I am eager to know what others think about it.
Comments
Well, there have been various threads in the past that gave constructive criticism and feedback on a lot of subjects. In fact, some Telltale employees even took notice and commented on some ideas.
The subjects of discussion have ranged from length and implementation of gameplay features that some think could benefit Season 2's experience as a whole, to talks about our current protagonist's character and the state of the cast. I have participated in those kind of threads, but I apologize for not contributing much to this discussion by not typing my views, I'm a terribly lazy person right now. I guess I can quote some post of mine from other threads later.
As for your suggestion, well, Dave Fennoy himself said in a recent interview that he would be more than eager to reprise his role in a sequence like the one you put here, and it seems like the idea is at least there. Some people think it's cliched, others think it's a good idea. I personally don't mind either way; I'm not crazy about it, but I wouldn't mind if it's done well.
