Well if whoever this is (I highly doubt Christa) if they were shot whilst a walker, parts of them could still be intact. If this is indeed a walker corpse, then we won't know how long they've been there because obviously walker bodies are very decomposed anyway.
How so? The comments may be a little out, I personally highly doubt it is Christa, but the pictures are real. If you look on PS/Vista or iOS versions of the game, the screen slides across so you can see the lower half of the corpse.

but isn't the face gone and it's just skull now and by saying that Christa's face couldn't turn into ash just that soon it would take a long time.
