I'm gonne be sick!

Let me run you through the ropes. I got the third Prince of Persia game for my PSP last Christmas. I thought, oh, looks kinda crappy. I eventually got to playing it, and fell in love with it (I still play it from time to time). It had a good story, great dialogue, and the music was very... Persian. Basically, they didn't need to fill the game with slutty characters or excessive violence to make it interesting.

Well, my friend gave me a copy of the second Prince of Persia game a couple weeks back, and I popped it into my PC. I was impressed by the way the game started, with a great plot hook and a first battle where you chop peoples' heads off on a pirate ship! :) But after another 15 minutes of playing, I realized this wasn't the same Prince of Persia I knew.

Imagine guzzling blended fish heads while listening to death metal, mixed with one of these smacking you back and forth in the head

There are holes in the storyline so big you could drop a brick through it. How can you even control time without the almighty time-controlling dagger of time!? And whats with the music? I'm pretty sure there were no electric guitars playing metal back in 300 B.C
The scenery is always dark, the enemies are annoying and repetitive, and the boss fights make me want to gouge my eyes out. Whoever came up with this one was really a true genius.

I haven't played the first game, but I know it was an infinite number of times better than this nightmare of a game. I don't think anyone was planning on playing this game anyways, but you have been forewarned. In any case, just get the new one that's coming if that would suit you.

Thanks for listening to my rant, I hope it entertained you.
