I think they may be saving a Lilly return for season 3 or for when they want to make a surprise.
I mean come on most were happy when they saw Kenny again but it wasn't really a surprise. Lilly returning would do really interesting things for the character: her story has a lot of space to grow.
I'm not that big of a Lilly fan, but it would be neat to see how the Lilly vs Kenny dynamic would go along after 2 years of not seeing each other.
I dunno though, wouldn't it be kind of too convenient for not only to meet Kenny again all the way up in Virginia, but also Lilly? I'm not sure how many times they can play the "meet character from Season 1 that was all the way down in Georgia that somehow ended up in Virginia" card.

I for one think she will save christa. It sounds unlikely but it could happen.
