Your way to survive in a Zombie apocalypse?
I would fly to an uncharted island that is uninhabited by dangerous animals and insects, and has many fruits and fresh water reserves to go by. No humans to fvck with you to get your stuff and no zombies to eat you provided that nobody in your group dies without you knowing.

I harness the power...
I would get my family to drive to a countryside and live on a farm.
Thinking on this now...I don't have a plane, but I know where to go to easily get one and have a pilot's license. I'd grab the wife, little sister, and whoever else I trust enough to take with me, and take the relatively short flight north to the remote nothingness of the Norwegian (not Sweden, because damn the Swedes. :S ) countryside. Wouldn't be a Walker for miles. Proceed to build a house, dig a moat around it just in case, hunt for food, and boom.
Would actually be rather peaceful I think. Though if something happened and humanity saves itself nobody would know where the fuck I am, and probably wouldn't recognize the scraggly, bearded hermit I'd become. :S
If that fails, I'd just drive an hour or two north to the shoreline. Denmark, so flat ass land one way, sea the other way.
Stick to my home town in the countryside and raid nearby homes/towns.
Stay in my treehouse and wait for the government to collapse, then drive to an airport and get a helicopter, and get on an aircraft carrier. NUCLEAR POWER IS KEY!
Sounds pretty good. Stable.
Move from place to place in a low populated region.
It'll take a while of driving cause bigger towns are like almost an hour from my house.
Stay at the family farm and build a big stone wall. If that doesn't work hoof it to Alaska.
Hide.
I love how these forums always become a zombie preparedness forum when we get 8-9 weeks into the episode wait time.
Well, it's more fun than the alternative(s)... :S
I would become the Wonder Woman.
Find a boat.
I would be like Lee Everett or Clementine and harness the infinite powers of common sense.
I would gather a medium sized group. We would head north to Pensylvania.
Think tactfully, be stealthy, and don't create drama.
Head out to the Fire Camp in the surrounding mountains. If that's not and option, then make it to the canyon. There are homes, a creek, waterfalls, and plenty of wildlife and berries.
Quick question... how would you get an airplane (not to mention fly or land)? And, how would you know how to find the island if it's uncharted?
Personally, given I live in one of the most populous cities in the world, I'd say my plan is 'crawl up in a ball and die.'
I am fortunate enough to live in the middle of nowhere, right in the sticks. In a very old house that's built like a castle. So very easy to fortify. Once the stocks had run out, I would raid the nearby villages. Then further afield.
Being in the middle of nowhere has it's advantages, such as own generator, gas supply and solar panels. Big garden so quite self sufficient.
I would grow a divine Mustache and become invincible!
Honestly? I would be eaten alive by some walkers in less then an hours. Ok, seriously... I think that I would stay at home for few days and if situation become really bad I could try to find my way into a countryside. Away from big cities for sure.
I'd stay up here in Canada, where the winters are cold so the zombies all freeze up. I can always go further north if I wanted to, though. A trip to the hardware store and I'll be good for a month or two, granted I have enough food. Sleep in the truck and hope for the best.
Save the world and fuck beaches,by spraying the world with pepto™
Well i live in the country side of a pretty small island in caribbean, and im like 25 minutes away from the nearest town, and thats close enough to scavenge for supplies. Could also just use the railroad system as my main route which circles the whole island, if using main roads becomes a hassle, plus im right next to the ocean. So im pretty good on multiple accounts.
im serious but I would consider going to a prison like in the show. they have fences and walls and land to plant crops.
