stories from the grave
It is October, and everyone in my neighborhood is preparing for Halloween! I live in Denton,TX, and it has its share of ghostly legends; like the spirits of the infamous Bonie n' Clyde who visit the town square. And The Hangman Trio, who were outlaws that were hung during the late 1800s. Does anyone have their own local ghost story? If not, thats fine, but I added this ghost video just in case you get bored. Enjoy!

Now *that's* a list. My favorite one is the "Seven Gates of Hell" in York. Of course, if you've ever been to York, you'd agree that the entire city qualifies as Hell, ghosts or no ghosts.
There was a time where I freaking swear I heard a banshee... Woman weeping, clearly heard, no other people (besides friend who is male, and sounds nothing like a woman).
One thing that's happened to me was when I was about nine years old. I was sitting in the living room and I heard the sound of dog toenails clicking on the linoleum floor in the kitchen (the next room over). Thing is, our dog had died a year before. The kitchen was where we kept his food and water bowls.
My college (Longwood Univeristy) has a lot of ghost stories attatched to it. Quite a few of them were just your standard urban legends you hear at every college (the girl who died trying to climb through her boyfriend's dorm window and now she scratches at the window trying to get in, etc), but we still had a bunch of good ones that were exclusive to our school. This page has a couple of good ghost stories. My favorite is the one about the soldier's shadow. Real Haunts has a few more stories, too.
I hate being pale.
