Do you think the cabin group wronged Carver in the past?

Do you think Carver is just being manipulative or is he genuinely telling the truth? Do we have much evidence that they used to be good friends? I know he's angry at Alvin because he killed his friend or something, but do you believe Carver? I personally believe that the Cabin group just retaliated to Carver's dictatorship.

  • I believe they retaliated. I'd say that his camp seemed so oppressive that they made an escape and in the process maybe killed a few of his men? Who knows. But this makes for an interesting discussion.
  • I think Carver has a potential good reason to have a vendetta, though I'm sure it isn't as cut and dry as him being completely wronged. I'm more curious to know if Rebecca's child is made out of duress or interest in him being a leader/powerful at the time, but more importantly there's little clues that at minimum he's felt wronged by them.

When he visits Clementine he initially lies and calls himself "George", but then later if you surrender as he's dragging Alvin you get to hear about Alvin supposedly killed George, and there's no denial from Alvin. Whether George is a friend or a family member remains to be seen, so at minimum that happened, and just as Clem is willing to use Carley as a fake name... Yeeeah. George wasn't a red shirt to him at the very least.
  • Well, he night have said that so it would make Rebecca and Alvin panic. If you say he said his name was George they freak out while Clem looks kind of confused. It might have been a way to get Clem to not trust them to, she would see how they react and wonder if they are hiding something.
