What gender do you think the baby will be if it survives? What gender do you want it to be? How could each gender change the outcome of the story and the characters?

    Rebecca seems to think it's going to be a girl.

    I can't claim to understand how they do it, but I've known a few pregnant women who made guesses at their babies' genders with no doctor ever telling them and ending up right. 50/50 chance I guess. :S

    so you're telling me that the group's actions and interactions wouldn't differ contingent upon the baby's gender? You don't think that baby's (when he/she gets older) role in the group wouldn't depend on its gender? Cmon man

They either need to kill it off right away or keep it away until it's grown because if I hear even one cry coming from it's mouth, I'm gonna fucking freak, that sound really gets to me. I already had this problem in the TV show.

    I think the baby's gender, as a baby, wouldn't affect anything.

    And I think the baby's gender, as an adult, SHOULDN'T affect anything.

    I hope you're not just judging that based off of what genitalia it has... you do realize Clem is going to have to see Rebecca in that state (though with different genitalia of course).

    She may be a kid but it's not like she doesn't know of those things... she obviously knows how babies are made due to her having the option to say "Who's baby is it" so we should really stop underestimating her knowledge on things.

    I think it'll be a boy... just so they won't be called out for copying a Judith situation and just so that we can name it Lee or some shit... I'm not certain though... if only we could tell by the achievement in episode four but dammit, why is it so difficult to judge a babies gender based off it's face?!

    Dude, what the fuck is your problem? Is it really fucking necessary to be that rude? I really do have a problem with this, and this is apparently what I deserve for stating my opinion on the internet. See now, this is why I usually keep my thoughts to myself, I'm starting to get a little more comfortable on these forums, so I open up a bit and all I get is hate, hate and FUCKING HATE. It is so annoying, and it isn't just this site either. I'm getting real sick of people like you who think it's funny to fuck with other people like this.

    Alright, I'll change my profile pic if that's what you want. I don't role play, and I don't understand where all the hate comes from either. Fuck, I really wish the PM system worked, I would like to talk to a mod or two without everybody else reading it. I only have Lizzie as my avatar because I really like her character, I'm sure plenty of people have their favorite characters up as well right? I mean, my all time favorite would be Philip, but I've over used his pics on other sites, so I'm just picking another favorite of mine. I would also use Rick, but too many people use him and it would just get repetitive. These forums have a nice community, but some people on here are fucking assholes. Can the mods help me?

    If it's shoved onto Clem for her to look after I'll be pissed. The adults should be the ones taking care of it and Clem shouldn't have anything to do with it. Hell, Carver can have it. He's probably the best equipped to look after it and it seems like he'd die for it.

    Anyway, back on topic, I think it'll be a boy.

    I agree with you, gender roles shouldn't matter; but they do, people will judge you based on them and if you do not adhere to them you are punished in society. You can say be strong and be who you want to be, but you'll inevitably feel the sting of rejection and loneliness. I'm not saying you won't find people and ever be happy, just that it is a hard and trying process.
