Yeah, they are probaly locked up. We can see in the preview at the end of episode 2 that at some point, Alvin is going to sit on a chairand get beaten up. Maybe it's right now.

Carver's probably put Carlos and Alvin in a more detained area, and these people (Sarita, Clem, Sarah, Nick, Rebecca and Kenny) are less dangerous or people he's willing to give another chance.

Alvin, if alive, could have been taken away by Carver to get beaten and/or murdered. Carlos might be getting patched up? I'm not very sure about where Carlos could be but yeah
Yeah I'd say Kenny and Alvin should both be locked up if Carver's worried which I don't think he should considering all of his guards have AK's,pretty sure Carlos would be getting fixed up.
