I don't think he actually is a complete and utter bad ass like that, I'm going by how he is portrayed, specifically by the cabin group. With… more that in mind I'm then considering portions of the lyrics.
You see us comin'
And you all together run for cover
We're taking over this town
...
Pillage the village, trash the scene
But better not take it out on me
'Cause a ghost town is found
Where your city used to be
So out of the darkness and into the light
Sparks fly everywhere in sight
From my double barrel, 12 gauge,
Like I said, the cabin group flees from even the mention of Carver. Then when we first see Carver and his peons they are walking in guns ablazing, and taking everyone from the lodge. The connections are very slim, but I was able to find a few. Like you said though, the overall theme of the song doesn't fit.
they should have a scene where Clems group find shrooms and they take them and they all lay in a field while this plays

Fields of Athenry, an Irish folk song, 'In the Pines' was an American folk song.
I mean, just look at the lyrics (just a few bits):
By a lonely prison wall
I heard a young man calling
......
I rebelled they ran me down
Now you must raise our child with dignity.
Low lie the Fields of Athenry
Where once we watched the small free birds fly.
Our love was on the wing we had dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely 'round the Fields of Athenry.'
If Rebecca dies in 204, this needs to be in the credits!
it would be hilarious if during every sad moment in walking dead they just starting blasting pop punk music like blink 182, new found glory and wonder years
Comments
