Let's see how far we've come
I've been feeling nostalgic lately, so how about a "how far we've come" (aka comparisons of season 1 to season 2, and general reminiscing about the first season) thread?
Yesterday I went back and rewatched some playthroughs of season 1 and was completely shocked by the game's graphics - they weren't nearly as good as I remembered them, or even half as good as the ones in season 2. It's odd, that I was seeing the first season through some sort of nostalgia filter and thought it could do no wrong, but really, there were a lot of glitches and graphics flaws!
Still, though, it just makes Season 2's achievements in graphics all the more amazing by comparison - and of course the graphics never had any effect on the story or its impact.
Even still, it's funny to look back and compare the two games and see just how much has changed.
For example (replace all (DOT) with periods):
Season 1, three character screenshot - img(DOT)gamefaqs(DOT)net/screens/b/2/a/gfs_260507_2_4(DOT)jpg
Season 2, three character screenshot -

It's simply astounding how much progress has been made.
This thread isn't all about graphics, though, reminiscing in general is fine too. :) When did you first start playing TWDG? How many episode waits have you been around for?
(I started playing TWD around the time season 1 episode 4 came out, a day or two after I think. The wait for episode 5 just about killed me but it was nothing compared to the wait for Season 2, hahaha.)

The thing that progressed the most I think was character choices. They got deeper and more involved with the players emotions, which I love/hate because it causes so much pain. I just love how it kept its character with the changing graphics <3
"And his heart grew ten times larger that day" XD
