Curses

edited November 2008 in General Chat
What do do you (or anyone you know) seem to be cursed with? I seem to make forums destroy themselves by joining them. Both forums I joined died after almost exactly one year and 11 months; NSider closed down, and the Homestar Runner Wiki Forum locked the Off-Subject boards. So, what company is Telltale going to sell out to are you cursed with?

I killed the Started by a Mouse forum and was a member of the Wormbaby forum when all the drama occurred, leading it to get shut down.

Nearly every webcomic I start reading ends soon after.

Unfortunately, this hasn't worked with CTRL+ALT+DEL yet though.

Oh, before I forget: Don't read VG Cats. Or Slackerz.

I turn into a girl whenever I fall into cold water. Stupid curse...

Edit: All right, I give in! I suffer tremendously from arachnophobia. I seem to get into a fetal position and cry whenever a spider crawls nearby. I've been slowly combating this irrational fear, though, and I'm able to look up pictures of tarantulas... albeit with strong reluctance.

My autism causes me to have anxiety attacks whenever I'm in stressful situations; so that is my curse. I am taking medications for that, though.

My psychopathy causes me to have no empathy or remorse. It rules!

Can I have some of that? It'd really come in handy in college!

Nah, I'd rather derive pleasure from watching you suffer

I seem to be cursed with America's social environment. I was an outcast when I was young, so much of my life now is based on what I see around me so that I'm not made an outcast again. I have trouble laughing out loud at things I know are funny if there isn't another person there laughing also. In my opinion, this is one of the worst curses conceivable. Luckily, I'm able to overcome this curse in the matter of homestarrunner.com; I don't know anyone else that watches it, but I absolutely love it, and I've constantly been trying to get my friends to watch it regularly.

Loud noises anything louder than a tv hurts me.

Whenever I start watching a show that has already been finished, I always accidentaly find out the spoilers. For example, when finally started watching the rest of Death Note, I almost immediately found out that
    both Light and L die
after watching episode 5. Another example, when Zootch told me when I started watching Lost, that
    the island is really purgatory

Look at it this way, at least you don't turn into a pig!

    I knew about Death Note
    episode 25/volume 7
before I even started watching the show/reading the manga. And thanks to Wikipedia, I know that
    L's name is L Lawliet
    .

Yeah, I figured out it wasn't true when I read this after making my last post in this thread.

I didn't need Wikipedia for that tidbit of info. I found out in the "Death Note 13: How To Read" info book.

Yes, well, I don't have that one. I want to, but I only have volumes 1-10 of the manga and I want to go in order. Anyway, back on topic: Anytime I hope it doesn't rain, it does, and the opposite also holds true.

My curse is that if I ever get stuck on something I end up forgetting it & stop doing it. Books, games, Everything! CURSE MY SLOTH! By that I mean my laziness not my actual sloth. Love ya Mr.Lackadaisy!
