Anyone else think TT may screw themselves?

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
I have been semi reserved about the number of characters this season has. Cabin group started with seven, plus Clem. We also have Carver's people, his hostages, and also the 400 days group. Will this seemingly overabundance in characters over saturate the game and work against TT and possibly some early and disappointing deaths (like doug/carly, chuck, and mark), or will they lead to a bunch of emotionally captivating deaths and shocking moments?

  • I think Telltale is building all this up for war. Making us doubt which side to go with and who to trust.
  • I've thought about this too. How are they going to give this many characters a satisfying place with a 90 minute per-episode run time?

I'll wait and see, but part of me is admittedly apprehensive.
  • I'm feeling wary myself. It's a MUCH bigger cast compared to the first season.
  • I thought about that

  • Don't you worry, I bet ALOT will die soon...
  • Good points; I think the answer will depend on how many of these new faces become full fledged characters, and how many just serve to advance the plot like Molly in S1.

MORE BLOOD TO OFFER TO THE RED GOD!!!"
  • I'm worried they might try to stretch the plot out too far, for a possible season 3, instead of going all out like season 1 did. Season 1 blew my mind because pretty around 90% of the characters died by the end!
  • That would be cool if there was a war because it would be interesting knowing the enemys backstorys and then watching them die. Like if Vince was fighting for the enemy group and then you get to kill him. His death would be a lot more impactful because we know about his past and story. Killing people we know instead of just killing generic bad guy grunts.
