Compared to Season 1,yes,Season 2 could have been much better in my opinion. Even from episode 1,the whole season stinks on "We are doing this just because our fans expect us to do so....and because its profitable." Why didn't the original writers write the Season? To be honest, the way they ditched Season 1 storyline still bothers me;the initial introduction with Christa and Omid was awesome, but after Omid dies,Season 1 storyline is in every way forgotten.
I expected they would continue the Season 1 story with Christa and Omid and just build up on it,but nooo...because why would they simply expand on a already build up storyline and characters from Season 1 we all love and just continue from there,we they can throw the entire thing out the window and introduce a whole new set of characters and a completely new story nobody really gives a **** about?
They already had everything from Season 1,literally served on their plate;the choices, characters, the opinions other character had about you,the story, etc. but nope!
Episode 3,despite having some great moments, looked very half-assed to me,and from the Episode 4 preview, looks like the next episode might be quite boring.

The only spoiler I mentioned was that Omid dies. And if you don't know what happens in the first 10 minutes of Episode 1,then I honestly don't know what are you doing on this forum. :P
You kina right I've been waiting 2 months to this episode to come out and it is shorter than the 400 stories!!!! Seariously are you f****** around telltale I left the school and ordered a pizza to play "EPISODE 3" and that's the whole episode?!!!!!!!!

Well,I can say there will be one shocking moment in the last minute before the credits.
And no,its probably not what you're thinking. ;)
Other then that, there's really nothing special I can say without spoilers. Just don't go in expecting too much and you're good to go. ;)
After all,as Clem_is_awesome said,no 400 days character interaction (though there are a few pointless cameos though),no hubs like in Season 1 and no real character development.
