Is he cracking?

I'm not really sure if it's just me thinking this (Probably not) but does anyone think Kenny is pretty much going insane?

On the forums a lot of people have spoke very casually about Kenny, leaving me to doubt my idea, but i've always seen Kenny as bad news in this season, he's really possessive and controlling, trying to remake his family ect.

  • To an extent, it seemed like he was cracking in episode 2. However, in episode 3, he doesn't really give off that vibe to me. Sure, he beat someone to death with a crowbar, but that same person had just beat him within an inch of his life and took his eye. That's more than justified.
  • I felt like at the start when they where in the truck and the part when they were deciding on a plan showed how controlling he was, however i was pretty aggressive in the first season, i can't really remember well.

However either way i think Kenny will end up being a bad dude at the end of this season, it just seems to weird for one of the favorite characters from season 1 to come back and still be sane.

  • I'm not sure yet. Yes, he has made some rash decisions, but he hasn't hurt his loved ones/friends and clearly cares about (some of) them. He hasn't really done anything yet that was really morally wrong in my opinion, so I think it's a bit too early to jump to conclusions.
  • He's always been controlling. In season 1 if you disagree with him he tries to let Lee die on multiple occasions and if anyone ever disagrees with him he gets about as pissed off as he does in season 2.

About the insane thing, I thought that at first too, in episode 2, but in episode 3 he's really starting to seem like his old self again, for better or for worse. In fact, I think he's a much better person than he was in season 1. He's trying much harder to do what's right, clearly. The worst he's done is get into a minor scuffle with....that black guy whose name is currently eluding me. Everything else he's done is justified.
  • He definitely seemed a bit weird/crazy in season 2 episode 2 but in episode 3 he just seems like the same old Kenny.
  • Yeah, he was defo better this episode, but i don't see why they would even hint that he's going crazy in previous episodes, like in ep 2 where his girlfriend or fiancé (Idek lol) was saying has he changed, if they aren't going to expand it?
