I think my biggest thing would have to be Wyatt not being with the group. I really liked him. As in he's one of my favorite characters. And then Reggie. As soon as I saw Carver walking to teh garden I thought "Oh God. Reggie's screwed." I didn't think he'd die.

Then Alvin's death. And Carlos's death. And cutting the arm off... Dear God! This is the most emotionally traumatizing game I've played.

What I'm disappointed about? Carver biting the dust so soon, and the 400 Days characters being pushed to the side like they were. They had no presence at all.

My biggest disappointment was that there wasn't an option to kill Caver as Clementine, rather then simply watch. Such a path would have sealed the deal on the whole 'we are the same' segment of the story. I suspect in the coming episodes we will get some sort of option like it though...

I just realized something. I think the 400 days characters will meet up later. Even if no one aside from Bonnie went to Carver's camp, they will all meet up again to play a bigger role soon.

And yes. Carver shouldn't have died so soon. But then again, it helps the story. It's not like every awful person has to be a long lasting villain.

I don't think so. I imagine that he'll show up regardless of who left the car in 400 Days, especially as he's a fan favorite on the level of Nate. Wyatt, if he shows up again, better be given more than just a tiny cameo when Eddie arrives.

After playing it a 2nd time, I actually got frustrated from waiting too long. There's so many moments when there's no story progression, and very little actual character development. This whole episode just seemed like "Okay, Ep2 ended with Carver taking them, now we gotta get them out." I was expecting the whole 2nd half, or at least the last 3rd of the chapter to be the escape, not the last 5 minutes of a 2 hour investment.

Compared to the other episodes, this was really boring for the most part. That, and there was no real impact our decisions had on this chapter. The whole series pioneered this tailored story aspect, but it sucks when the most recent episode of this series has almost none of it. Alvin is absent the whole game, as is Nick, as are the entire 400 days cast. Unlike all the others, Bonnie is the only character who would have gone with Tavia no matter what the player did. So... No matter if you played 400 days or not, nothing would have really changed here. I am Disappoint.

Well, even though you went through all the stuff, a lot of the other characters had more reason to kill Carver than Clem.

But yes, that sort of option would be interesting

I actually really liked this episode. Yeah it was a lot of cutscenes, but there was a lot of story in there. I have a feeling/just realized that the other 400 days characters are probably going to show up soon. And have a bigger impact than we though.

Maybe It's just me, but in a zombie story, I love juicy story more than zombie killing.

Someone else pointed out that it looked like Eddie's head in the background of the next episode's cover.

But I feel like if they have no other part to play, then that DLC was a waste in the scheme of the overall story of Clem. They also said that your choices in 400 days would affect season 2. Which up until this point, there hasn't really been much effect on their part. Aside from Bonnie.

As do I. It's one of the reasons why I prefer Telltale's TWD over any other zombie media. There's not a whole lot of actual zombie killing. I was just disappointed here because there was very little story development, only "campaign missions." No real plot advancement other than what happens in the final 5 minutes, no real character development aside from them reacting to the events around them. That's character establishment, but not development, no progress with their arcs. Nick is the best example of this, as he practically is dead after "we" saved him in the prior episode. Does his inclusion here change anything? Does his inclusion in Ep3 change him? Ben was given plenty to do and say as a determinant character during "No Time Left," so how come Nick is barely given a more than 4 lines of dialogue?

If they only spent a day in Camp Carver, instead of two, would things have really been any different if what happened in the last five minutes happened during the first night?

I agree. Out of every Walking Dead episode I've played, this is the only one that felt like a genuine disappointment. Very little happened besides Carver constantly being a violent dick. We had almost no character development from anyone, least of all the 400 Days characters who don't really impact the main game in the slightest.

This episode was a bummer.

my biggest disappointment was lack of nick. he's my favorite character, i was always looking for him in the background of scenes and i swear they forgot to out his model in sometimes (or maybe i'm just not observant). i was really mad about this earlier, but i'm able to justify it a little given that episode 2 was rather nick-centric.

I actually was glad Carver passed on this early, just because it was unexpected.
