Awkward dialogue in Episode 3? *Possible spoilers*

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
I've been reading some comments that there has been some dialogue that sounded 'awkward' to listen to and there hasn't been any examples or reasons as to why it sounds awkward.

If anyone's interested, could you list down the lines and why its awkward?

Comments

  • Never heard anything "awkward" just wish i had some better last words to Carver.
  • The only awkward dialogue that I heard was from Reggie, for various reasons. I know that a lot of others are feeling the same. Did he not feel off to you?
  • Mister, I ain't a boy.

Why did Nick call Kenneth mister?
  • Because you show Kenneth respect or you get your face turned inside out. Salt lick, crowbar, whatever is handy really.

  • But, Kenneth isn't a mister, he is a Sir

Some of Reggie's dialogue was supposed to be awkward like when he spoke to Clem and Sarah when trimming the berries and that awkward head pat that he did. Some of the ways he said his lines seemed a bit weird, i don't know it it was his voice actor, direction or if it was intentional to his character.

  • Reggie, his voice acting feels... 'off'
  • I'll admit that the awkward head pat he gave Clem was great, one of the funniest lighter parts of the episode. He delivered that well.

  • It wasn't the dialogue that was awkward in my opinion.
    It was just Reggie's voice.
